Despicable Dave Stott

before disaster struck

DaveDave comments on the talents of Stewy Smoot.

Despicable Dave first came to prominance on Inside the Squared Circle when he lost his coveted Intergenerational Heavyweight Title to Nasty Nathan, a previously unranked 11 year old, in a video shown on last years "Fan Appreciation Show". This beating directly resulted in his participation in several Point/Counterpoint segments, adding additional embarassment and further damage to his fragile ego. Feeling the Despicable One had been softened up and was "ripe for the picking", ITSC secured his services as "Director of Research and Development ", instructing him to produce a presence for the show on the World Wide Web.

At home, Despicable Dave lives the life of luxury that an ITSC contract provides, but he will never again be content until he has regained the Wrestling Title so unjustly torn from his grasp. 'Till then he releases his aggressions in "Despicable Daves Diatribes" and lives one day at a time waiting for a title shot.

Dave grew up watching television wrestling in upstate New York and attending live events at the Troy Armory. His earliest memory of a live main event was watching Ernie Ladd defend the old North American (now WWF Intercontinental) Title against Victor Rivera. His most memorable live match was the Madison Square Garden debut of Andre the Giant, as Andre destroyed an amazed Killer Kowalski. Andre towered over Kowalski in a way that seemed beyond human and the entire Garden knew they had seen a man destined for greatness.

His most pleasurable live event took place ringside at a taping for NBC's Saturday Night Main Event from the Capital Center in Landover, MD. Macho bodyslammed the Honkeytonk Man at the Despicable One's feet and the lovely Elizabeth tripping on a cable, almost fell in Dave's lap. The best parts of that night were what didn't make the tape; the young man from the crowd who grabbed Hogan's title, after Andre threw it down, and ran away with it; the multiple tapings of JYD vs. Rick Rude with very different outcomes; and the board that dumb old Hacksaw couldn't get to break on Andre's back made for an evening that won't soon be surpassed.

Despicable Dave's All-Time Favorite Wrestler is Terry Funk.
